I've been very happy with the progress of this first week. However, there will be a delay in the arrival of the roofing trusses, so I'm expecting things to slow down soon.

Yay! It's so big! I'm excited for you.
I keep thinking about Liam and how excited he must be with that big equipment around. He is fascinated by construction projects the way my brother Paul was when he was a kid. This should take care of any entertainment issues for the rest of the summer!

Look at all that space! It's much easier for me to begin to see it now. Two stories, right?
One story, actually, but the connecting piece is very tall. And there's a lot of space under the roof. Michael's wishing we'd gone with vaulted ceilings, but that's a decision you have to make before they order the roof trusses.
